How to compress images without losing quality

Frequently asked questions

Will compressing reduce image quality?
You control the trade-off with the quality slider. Around 75% is usually indistinguishable from the original while cutting file size dramatically. Lower it for web use, raise it for print.
Are my images uploaded anywhere?

Which formats are supported?
